The Racquet Club of Memphis is the largest tennis facility in the area with 11 indoor and 16 outdoor courts, USPTA-certified tennis professionals, active Club tennis leagues and clinics, an active USTA tennis team and one of the area’s leading junior development programs. Regional tournaments, National Junior tournaments and world-class men’s and women’s professional tournaments are hosted at the club each year.
The Junior Development program has been in existence for members of The Racquet Club for 30 years. It is designed to develop the games of juniors of all ages and ability levels. Each year, nearly 200 juniors participate in the program, from five-year olds who are just learning to play, to seniors in high school who are preparing for Nationals. Maintaining a one-to-four ratio, the Club’s tennis professionals and Junior Development staff strive to give juniors the best instruction, drills and practice available.
