The Racquet Club of Memphis is the largest tennis facility in the area with 11 indoor and 16 outdoor courts, USPTA-certified tennis professionals, active Club tennis leagues and clinics, an active USTA tennis team and one of the area’s leading junior development programs. Regional tournaments, national junior tournaments and world-class men’s and women’s professional tournaments are hosted at the club each year.
The Junior Development (including QuickStart) program has been in existence for members of The Racquet Club for 30 years. It is designed to develop the games of juniors of all ages and ability levels. Each year, over 160 juniors participate in the program, from five-year olds who are just learning to play, to seniors in high school who are preparing for nationals and college tennis. Maintaining a one-to-four ratio, the Club’s tennis professionals and Junior Academy staff strive to give juniors the best instruction, drills and practice available.

Umbrella ceremony – Friday night, June 18, was the Umbrella Ceremony. The Tennis Committee along with many members carried the 1st umbrella to Court 4 and began the tradition! Fittingly, as the umbrella was opened a glorious rainbow appeared in the background! Please thank your Tennis Committee members for getting this done!
Good luck to the DeViney 4.0 Ladies USTA Team going to State! This weekend the 4.0 women’s team out of The Racquet Club will travel to Chattanooga, TN to try to win the State Title! The team went undefeated in the regular season and they should do very well at State! Wish this team good luck! .
