make the most of the method while utilizing other techniques
for a balanced body.
Our sessions sculpt your body and balance your energy. We design
progressive programs that meet individual needs and fulfill
specific goals for each one of our clients. Physical results
include changes in muscle tone, longer, leaner muscles, weight
loss, stability, fluidity, mental acuity, and pain relief. We
teach the art and practice of the Pilates Method in its
original form while employing a range of complimentary methods
and fitness practices that give access to achieving a wide
range of results. In our Studio, each client receives a
personalized introduction so we ensure that individual goals
are met and physical challenges are set appropriately to suit
all ages and lifestyles.
True healing comes from understanding the source of power. Power
signifies what we believe to be the single most important
component of fitness. It is balance, coordination, control and
strength derived from the body's core and the experience of
your mind connecting. The results are a physical change as
well as an emotional change in how you feel about yourself.
You will stand taller, feel refreshed and alert and actually
change the way your body moves and feels. The effects of aging
will decrease and health, posture and energy balances. This is
the ultimate gift.
GETTING STARTED – Pricing
Each new
student enters our Studio attending an Introduction so that an
effective progression of exercises designed specifically for
your needs can be given. Whether a first-time Pilates
enthusiast or a long-time lover of the method, we take care to
discuss your goals, review health history, assess current
posture, movement patterns and gait before recommending the
best pathway of study and creating a suitable program design.
As part of this fitness assessment, you can expect to learn
what your body fat percentage is, your resting heart rate and
what imbalances your body may display. We will also discuss
nutrition. Allow for 1.5 hours for this appointment.
INTRODUCTION SESSION APPOINTMENTS

phone number and what time of day works best to schedule your
Introduction Session. We will return your call to set an
appointment.
THE
PROGRESSIVE PROGRAM
Your personalized program is designed for you to meet your specific needs
and goals through a progressive series of sessions. All
sessions include remedial exercises to release tension and
reeducate movement patterns, and incorporate exercises on any
combination of the Pilates Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Barrels
and small apparatus (stability ball, bands, fitness circle and
traditional weights).
All sessions challenge the body with a vast repertoire of safe, effective
movements that will keep your body fit, feeling revitalized
and at ease The unique resistance equipment originally
designed by Joseph H. Pilates, aligns and supports the body as
you perform low impact, partial weight-bearing exercises with
fluidity and control.
For best results, sessions should be taken at minimum twice weekly.
AGREEMENTS
We require that all clients attend an Introduction Session/Fitness
Assessment.
Please cancel 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. Of course there
are logical exceptions, however, we appreciate your
cooperation.
Remember, practice of the Pilates method has versatile results. It can
be restorative and rehabilitative, so if you have an injury or
are in pain, the perfect thing to do is attend your session so
you feel better.
If you are scheduled for a DUET or GROUP/QUARTET Session and feel you
need extra attention, please give us a call and we will try to
arrange a SOLO hour.
Sessions are not transferable and non refundable. Payment for sessions is
due in advance.
We do our best to make your sessions work in your life. We appreciate
plenty of advanced notice regarding seasonal changes in your
preferred session time, vacations where you will not be
attending, and plans to discontinue sessions.
PILATES PERSONAL INSTRUCTION
All sessions will include any combination of mat, small apparatus (ball,
bands, dumbells), reformer, cadillac and barrels. This can be
discussed at the Intro Session.
