Personal Trainers

Amy Friedman has been working as a personal trainer for over 10 years. She is a native Memphian and a lifelong fitness enthusiast. She has a Master’s degree in Human Movement Science and Education from the University of Memphis (1999) and she is certified as a Health/Fitness Instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine. Amy has also been trained as a Stott Pilates Mat Instructor and enjoys helping clients with osteopenia and osteoporosis improve their bone heath through strength training.  
   
Cheryl Edwards has certifications for Personal Training and Aerobic exercise from America Fitness Association of America. She is a certified Power Pilates teacher for both beginner and intermediate mat classes. She has run six marathons including the Boston Marathon. She has been a fitness instructor since 1977.  
   
Holly Guthrie is a certified personal fitness trainer from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and a certified Pilates Instructor through PowerPilates, NY. She has been involved in fitness most of her adult life participating in marathons and triathlons. Her past professional experience includes National Director of Event Planning and Marketing Coordinator for Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz with over 550 attorneys nationwide, and Director of Event Planning for Destination King, Memphis’ premier destination management company
   
Jonna Danis is ACE Certified personal trainer with over 10yrs experience, specializing in strengthening, conditioning and flexibility in order to improve running, as well as postural alignment and back health. She is certified in Body Training Systems for group resistance training. She has worked as a habilitation therapist for handicapped children. She is avid runner and fitness enthusiast, and interested in designing a personalized program offering for her clients. Jonna can give a diet information, which will improve your running, sports performance, and increase muscle mass.  
   
Ray Glover is certified through The International Sports Sciences Association. Ray has trainer under this certification for over 14 years. He is certified in Exercise and Pregnancy, Exercise and Fibromyalgia..
Ray is a Lieutenant with the Memphis Fire Department. He has held this rank for eleven years of his 24 years of service. He has competed in the World Police and Fire Games Bodybuilding events
 
   
   
Orlando McKay is a former world-class athlete in two sports. While at the University of Washington, he clocked the 32nd fastest time in the world in the 400 meter dash in 1989, and came away with Rose Bowl and National Championship Football rings. McKay was drafted as a wide receiver by the Green Bay Packers in 1992, and remained with the team for one year before playing two seasons in the Canadian Football League. McKay currently is the football and track coach for Memphis University School. At MUS McKay coached the Owls to four state football championships and two state track championships. Orlando has been a personal trainer in Memphis since 1995. He trains athletes of all ages
